RISANASMART MGN is a quick setting, breathable single-coat lime renovation plaster. As a main plaster coat, it has been developed for fast lime plaster application, and is even suitable for the renovation of walls subject to moderate dampness problems or moderate rising damp when protection from soluble salts is also needed.

Key Features: 

Breathable: Being a lime plaster, it’s naturally vapour permeable or breathable. Resistant to All Salts: resistant to all types of salts (chlorites, nitrates, sulphates) and acids. No Cement, no chemicals: does not contain chemicals or cement – it only contains natural materials. Extremely Long Lasting: due to its microporous structure it blocks the movement of salts, being impervious to salts crystallization, crumbling and breakdown. Suitable for Listed buildings: suitable for historic or listed buildings and heritage renovations.

It allows for the quick replastering of damp walls with lime in a single coat, significantly reducing labour costs and intervention times. Once the material has sufficiently set (typically in 6-10 hours), applying a finishing coat of Rasacol MGN finishes the job, making possible complete lime replastering in 1-2 days.
